“Everyone’s always on the search for the perfect T-shirt,” says 33-year-old Erik Allen Schnakenberg, co-founder of the California-based menswear line Buck Mason. Which is why he and his business partner Sasha Koehn, 35, have decided to bring it directly to, well, everyone.
Dubbed The Open Road, the duo’s roving boutique is aimed at simplifying the shopping experience for, as they describe it, "the guy’s guy." From Laguna to Long Beach and Santa Barbara to San Francisco, the 150-square-foot GMC former school bus will be making stops up and down the coast of California this summer, with plans to venture further into all 50 states come fall….
